A group consists of 25 people or more (children and adults), and we require one chaperone for every 5 children. An additional $15 will be charged for every Pennypickle's staff member needed to fill that ratio if your group cannot meet that requirement.
Birthday parties are not considered a group entry... if you are celebrating a birthday, you will have to purchase a party package. Please call 951-308-6376 for package information.
Group visits are self-guided and are a total of 90 minutes. We offer a special experiment demonstration during field trips for an additional $25. If you have questions or want to know more about any of the exhibits, please locate one of the Professor’s assistants during your visit.
A non-refundable deposit of $40.00 must be received in order to confirm your reservation. The contact person you name on the Field Trip Request Form will receive a call from staff within 3 business days, or feel free to call 951-308-6376 if you have questions. A complete field trip package will be mailed after receipt of your deposit. The balance due must be paid before the field trip visit, or the trip will be cancelled and deposit will be forfeited. There will be no refunds. If you need to cancel your reservation, your visit will be rescheduled. There are no adjustments for children and/or adults who are absent on the day of the field trip. Purchase orders are not accepted.
Pennypickle's Workshop does not guarantee admission to any group that has not made an advance reservation. Admission is based on space and availability. The group rate is available for confirmed reservations only, and all reservations are on a first come, first served basis.
Unscheduled or unconfirmed reservations are not eligible for a group rate and if admitted will be required to pay the current general admission rate of $5 per person.
